Förslöv School is a K-9 school with 530 students. We have 75 employees distributed across 5 teams. We work based on “The Whole Child – All the Way,” where we collectively take responsibility for both the social and academic development of our students. The foundation is based on a permissive and stimulating study environment where we strive to provide each student with the best possible education. We focus on relational pedagogy, with students' safety and participation as important components.

Within our staff, we have a high density of qualified teachers and a shared drive to continue developing our school. Formative approaches and inclusive learning environments are two areas we have worked on over time. This academic year, we have had professional development in language-promoting methods and analysis. A good working environment for both students and staff gives us excellent conditions for our work.

We have a well-functioning student health service where we systematically work to develop the operation based on our needs and results. Part of the work in recent years has been to develop our support organization and our learning environments from K-9. Students have MacBooks as their digital tools, and we have interactive TV screens and sound leveling systems in most classrooms.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a social pedagogue with a special focus on grades 7-9. The assignment includes building relationships with and being present with students in grades 7-9 during teaching situations and breaks. Collaboration with teaching educators and support organization educators is included.

Your mission will be to contribute to the best possible learning solutions for students in grades 7-9. Your primary task will, of course, be to attract and challenge learning on an individual level.

Our common development area is to further develop an accessible learning environment for all our students and a good working environment for both students and staff. As an educator at Förslöv School, you are expected to contribute to this development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated social pedagogue for students in grades 7-9 with experience in the field. We want you to be a clear, secure, and inspiring leader for our students. Joy, engagement, and creativity are important parts of a learning environment where students' development is the focus. You are skilled at building relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.

To thrive and do a good job, it is essential that you have a flexible mindset, ease in building relationships, and a professional demeanor. You are accustomed to documenting your work and collaborating with various external entities. It is also important that you are a positive team player with a desire to learn and develop. At Förslöv School, we work together to create an inclusive learning environment where we have strategies to reach every student and strengthen their development.

The position will be filled on the condition that it is not needed by an already employed person within the municipality.
